Full itinerary

Experience a Pinnacles Day Tour to explore the breathtaking natural regions of the West Coast. Witness the beauty of the Pinnacles while enjoying the enchanting twilight and observing native wildlife.

Escape the city and visit Western Australia’s top natural attractions for a day.

We stop after 1.5 hours from Perth at Lancelin lookout. It has the largest network of dunes in Western Australia. These dunes are snow-white and contrast with the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Before we go to Nilgen Nature Reserve, shake the sand out of your shoes. The reserve is rich in flora and fauna. Wildflowers like banksias, bottlebrushes, heath, grass trees, and kangaroo paws will be seen. Hangover Bay is an alternative if the flowers are not visible. At Hangover Bay, you can dip your toes in the clear waters or see dolphins and sea lions.

We will now proceed to Nambung National Park, where we can observe the unique Pinnacles desert at sunset. These limestone pillars, made of shells that date back millions of years when this land was underwater, provide a fascinating sight. It is advisable to visit at dusk when the crowds dissipate and the changing colours over the rocks create an otherworldly ambience.

Experience a picnic dinner with a glass of local wine while enjoying a mesmerizing light show of natural wonder beneath the night sky. Take in the breathtaking beauty of the stars and planets above as the darkness falls. Learn about the ancient stories of the Aboriginal Dreamtime and contemplate the vastness of the universe.

The tour includes dinner and requires a moderate level of fitness for the walks, which are approximately 1km to 2km long. The itinerary may vary slightly due to the different departure times throughout the year to ensure the best sunset experience.
